It allows you to game online, stream in 4K, and video chat, all at once. And so, for average-sized households needing to be online at the same time, an average download speed of 264Mbps can be ideal to have.
Standard 200Mb broadband is superfast and great for households of people who’re often online at the same time. Our M250 Fibre Broadband is better. Its faster average download speed of 264Mbps can easily stream ultra-HD on 8 devices at the same time or you can grab something to watch and enjoy offline as it can take just 3 minutes to download a HD movie.
While standard 200Mb broadband is very good, our M250 Fibre Broadband is great. Its superfast average download speed of 264Mbps can easily connect 10+ devices at the same time.
Standard 200Mbps broadband will have an average download speed of 200 megabits per second (200Mbps). Meanwhile, our M250 Fibre Broadband provides an average download speed of 264 megabits per second (264Mbps), which is fast enough to have a HD film downloaded in about 3 minutes or an entire album of music downloaded in 3 seconds.

Our M250 Fibre Broadband is faster than standard 200Mb broadband. Having multiple TVs (streaming in HD), as well as smart devices and mobiles connected to the WiFi can use up a lot of bandwidth. So it’s always a good idea to have extra speed.
Netflix and other streaming providers recommend a minimum speed of 3Mbps for streaming in standard definition, but these speeds may struggle during busy times. Extra speed can help to prevent buffering and keep you online enjoying the shows you love.
Our superfast M250 Fibre Broadband is perfect for households with 10 or more connected devices, given its average download speed of 264Mbps. This is faster than standard 200Mbps broadband. And it will comfortably stream ultra-HD videos, movies or TV shows to eight devices, at the same time.

M200 was a Virgin Media Fibre Broadband speed for busy households. It kept 10+ devices connected at the same time and had average download speeds that were superfast: 213Mbps download, 20Mbps upload. We have now replaced M200 with our faster M250 Fibre Broadband speed, to help you get more from your connection.

No setup fee
